| I opened my guitar store (Jacksonville Guitar Center) in 1975 and that's when I started collecting vintage guitars. I've always made my living selling new guitars, but my personal collection of vintage guitars became so large that I went ahead and dedicated one end of my building to being a guitar museum.
The display includes some vintage Martin, Gibson and Fender guitars and amps, but I also have many unusual guitars.
I'm known for having a comprehensive collection of cowboy guitars and I've coauthored the book called "Cowboy Guitars," published in 2002 by Centerstream.
I don't know if it's worth a drive from out of state to see my museum, but if you happen to be in central Arkansas, then please do drop by. There is no charge to view the museum and I'll be glad to personally describe the history of the guitars on display.
